A compliance simulator, for your review.
MyColoc is developing a tool that enables a landlord to assess, in a matter of minutes, whether their property is suitable for a shared flat or furnished rooms. The tool is based on national legislation (the 2024 Act on tenancy agreements and the 2019 Act on the health and safety of furnished rooms), as well as your local authority’s Land Use Plan (PAG) and building regulations.

Compliance simulator
Is your property suitable for use as a shared home?
Answer a few questions to help determine whether your property is suitable for shared living, and in what form, depending on your plans, the building and the local authority. You will receive an initial assessment of compliance, which must be confirmed by a site visit.
We would really appreciate your feedback on this
- Do the thresholds we have identified in your building regulations correspond to those you apply?
- Is there a criterion that you consider essential which is missing from the programme?
- Is there a risk that a particular wording might mislead a property owner?
- Do you think this distinction between what holds a project back and what can be rectified is fair?
What the tool does not do
It is not a substitute for an on-site visit, an analysis of the plans, or advice from your technical department or the CGDIS. It provides a preliminary assessment designed to guide the owner towards the right questions to ask before approaching the local authorities.
